I’ve been busy for a while - thus the light posting. Just a couple of random things - it’s amazing how some people/groups keep producing interesting things (as opposed to taking credit for them).
I’ve been enjoying Feist lately (if being unable to get that damn song out of your head is classified as enjoyment). Reading a little about her, I discovered that she used to be part of By Divine Right (and that Broken Social Scene also came out of that group). I loved By Divine Right back in the late 90s, and my copy of All Hail Discordia got kind of worn out in my car.
I also got to meet Brad Templeton last spring at an event held at the Canadian Consulate. I vaguely knew the name, but I recently discovered that he was the creator of PAL, the best assembler for the Commodore 64/Vic 20 - something I used quite a bit back in the day. Way back in the day.
