Some random thoughts (two) seeing the 2003 version of the Hulk vs. The New Hulk (I haven’t actually seen the new movie).
- Eric Bana is a better actor than Edward Norton. That’s going to be front and center once the New Hulk is out.
- The first movie is a monster on rewatch.

Ingram shrugged and stood by his position. “There’s nothing like opening up […]

Kudos for Mozilla

I’ve slagged Mozilla in various places out of frustration with nearly constant crashes. So I’m happy to say that RC1 is rock solid for me - several days now without a crash. Also I discovered a feature I’ve long wanted - not sure how long it has been there - but it’s a pretty cool […]

Brains Don’t Scale

An interesting article about aging and the mind in the NYT. The premise of the article is that as we age, what people think of as forgetfullness is actually just an increased retrieval time caused by the presence of more stuff. This seems right to me, as I’ve found as I age that I can […]

Interesting tidbit at the bottom of a totally unrelated article:

“One thing Obama and McCain have in common is that they each have a Vice-President problem. In both cases the choice is fraught with peril. Do you go for someone who strengthens your base or extends your appeal? Do you try for balance or amplification? How do you avoid saddling yourself with one ingrate and […]

Some Random Python Links
May 9th, 2008 · No Comments
It’s probably obvious from the last few entries here that I’m attempting to remake myself as a python programmer. It isn’t a terribly hard task, in fact the language in and of itself is quite fun to learn and use. Some not obvious links I’ve found to be of use:
David Goodger’s Style Guide is great. […]
