The Hulk is Fucked

May 31st, 2008 · 1 Comment

Quote for the Day

Kudos for Mozilla

May 20th, 2008 · No Comments

I’ve slagged Mozilla in various places out of frustration with nearly constant crashes. So I’m happy to say that RC1 is rock solid for me - several days now without a crash. Also I discovered a feature I’ve long wanted - not sure how long it has been there - but it’s a pretty cool […]

A Gazillion Dollars

Interesting tidbit at the bottom of a totally unrelated article:
“Digg left Federated Media last year to accept a very lucrative Microsoft deal that will pay out over $100 million over three years.”

Summing Up US Politics

May 16th, 2008 · No Comments

“One thing Obama and McCain have in common is that they each have a Vice-President problem. In both cases the choice is fraught with peril. Do you go for someone who strengthens your base or extends your appeal? Do you try for balance or amplification? How do you avoid saddling yourself with one ingrate and […]

Some Random Python Links

May 9th, 2008 · No Comments

It’s probably obvious from the last few entries here that I’m attempting to remake myself as a python programmer. It isn’t a terribly hard task, in fact the language in and of itself is quite fun to learn and use. Some not obvious links I’ve found to be of use:
David Goodger’s Style Guide is great. […]
